Ironically for us a ‘wedding video’ was very much an afterthought, it was quite literally a case of asking a family member on the day to take my camcorder and press record!

As you can imagine the results were pretty poor to say the least. This has without doubt driven us even harder to hone our craft and enable us to create stunning wedding day films. We do it because we love to do it. We are always after ‘that shot’, whether it be a close up of a tearful parent or a euphoric groom, if it’s happening then we want to film it!

First and foremost we are creative camera operators, you know the saying about making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear? Whilst it is possible to jazz up poor footage with some fancy editing, we prefer to film as creatively as possible using the techniques learned by the great film makers. Then we carefully and meticulously edit all our footage and include music of your choice.

Over the last few years of filming weddings, I re-discovered my love of stills photography and launched the new photography business in 2012. I realised that nowadays most couples want more than an expensive heavy family album which will rarely be looked at. And with most young couples being quite “techie” these days, I prefer to give my clients a full compliment of high resolution stills to do with what they please. Alternatively I can create a beautiful DVD stills slide-show set to music to enjoy for years to come.
