Ironically for us a ‘wedding video’ was very much an afterthought, it was quite literally a case of asking a family member on the day to take my camcorder and press record!
As you can imagine the results were pretty poor to say the least. This has without doubt driven us even harder to hone our craft and enable us to create stunning wedding day films. We do it because we love to do it. We are always after ‘that shot’, whether it be a close up of a tearful parent or a euphoric groom, if it’s happening then we want to film it!
First and foremost we are creative camera operators, you know the saying about making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear? Whilst it is possible to jazz up poor footage with some fancy editing, we prefer to film as creatively as possible using the techniques learned by the great film makers. Then we carefully and meticuosly edit all our footage and include music of your choice.
Mark’s philosophy is very simple:
‘ I want to create a stunning DVD for my clients to remember and re-live their wedding day. If watching your wedding DVD brings tears and laughter and you can’t wait to watch it again and show all your friends and family, then I know I have fulfilled my brief ’.
