Top Tips
Book Early!
To maintain the highest standards of production we limit the number of wedding that we film/shoot each year. The key summer weekends get booked early.
‘Uncle John syndrome’
Many couples suffer from this! Everyone has an Uncle John with a camcorder who would love to film your wedding for you. Be warned ‘One wedding day, one chance to get it right’………… leave it to a professional! We use broadcast-standard equipment and considerable expertise and experience in producing a stunning and creative wedding day film for you to cherish for many years to come. When the champagne’s gone, the flowers faded and the dress relegated to the wardrobe forever, your DVD is very much alive and testimony to one of the most special days of your life!
Price
It is often tempting to opt for the cheapest. Generally speaking, the cheapest is rarely the best, but then sometimes neither is the dearest. When your wedding day is over all you have left are your memories. You should have the most complete record of the day that you can afford.
Need
“We don’t really need a video as we’ve booked a photographer…” is a comment we often hear from couples. You have invested a tremendous amount of time, effort and money in your big day, don’t just rely on stills to re-live the day. A truly complete record of your big day can only be captured with a wedding day film.
Rapport
Ensure you meet the actual videographer or photographer who will be covering your big day. Some companies will send a cameraman whom you have never met before. Most of us are not at ease or relaxed with a total stranger. Sharing a good rapport will help you relax and look fantastic.
Shy?
“I’m too shy to have a video…” is another classic comment. If you can walk down the aisle with a hundred guests looking at just you, and if you can pose for stills, then one discreet video camera should be the least of your worries!
Is your videographer or photographer passionate about what he/she does?… or is it just a job?
Check the ‘style’ of your videographer/photographer, is it what you want?
Come over for a coffee, if you think that we are not for you, then you have lost nothing but helped narrow down your choice of professional.
